I started karate in March of 2015 at the age of 13 with my sister, Katriel. We had never been involved in any sports and this was new and exciting experience for us. One that we greatly enjoyed. At first I wasn’t sure if it was something I wanted to do long term, but the longer we stayed the more I wanted to keep going.
On June 3, 2017, my sister and I received our 1st degree black belts. Reaching black belt level is just the beginning of a wonderful and beautiful journey. Under Renchi Camp’s helpful support, guidance, and careful instruction, I have been an assistant karate instructor since 2017.
My sister and I earned our 2nd degree black belt December 8, 2018. It has been an amazing experience and I greatly treasure all the knowledge that has been shared with me.
I love sharing with others what I have experienced and been taught, and seeing them advance in rank and gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. I believe that karate is about learning about yourself and trying to do your ultimate best. You never know what you are capable of unless you try.
